Interesting….

Another nail in the proverbial coffin.  This oil on land that is not legally recognized in the international community that was taken by Israel (they were justified), after the Syrian surprise attack in 1967.  The one who controls the Golan Heights (which look over the plains of Meggido), control the outcome of any war in the ME.  You cannot attack from Jordan.  You really cannot attack from the south (sitting ducks).  The only really good way in is through that flat plain.  Thus, the reason this place has been a sticking point for so long when it comes to conflict in this region.

This could be a sticking point, if Russia is there to fight Syria’s battles and decides that they will take care of unfinished business….

With oil and gas, Russia seems to have a particular greed.  I am not sure why – but they do.  This may just be the carrot to entice them in for the kill.  BTW – if anyone tries to convince you that this war is over anything else other than the control of oil/gas and its transmission from point A to point B, you are in danger of being deluded.   That is what will suck people in – the end goal is to fulfill the agenda of the devil in attempting to wipe the Chosen People from off the face of the earth.  The devil is the ultimate liar.  In so being, he cannot tell a lie from reality.  he thinks he will win – and in this thing, he will lose….. No question in my mind.  Just a matter of being patient and watching it all play out.

There you have it.  Here is the interesting tidbit I found:

“Israeli oil prospectors have discovered a large oil deposit in the Golan Heights, a Syrian territory which it has occupied since 1967.

Israeli oil prospectors discovered a large oil deposit which could make the country self-sufficient in energy, Israeli business daily Globes reported.

The oil deposit lies in the Golan Heights, which is internationally recognized as Syrian territory but has been occupied by Israel since the 1967 war between Israel and Arab states. Israel is unable to import oil from nearby Arab oil-exporting countries, which do not recognize Israel and have no diplomatic relations with the country.”
