If you are not familiar with the Hadron Collider in Switzerland, you probably should be.  They are attempting to find the “God particle” using your tax dollars.  I have an uneasy feeling about this.  I think science is great – BUT, as with any of it, it should ONLY be used to benefit mankind.  Not be used as a whipping tool.

I am not exactly sure that this stuff, like nitro-glycerin (invented by Nobel) will be used for exactly peaceful purposes.   It may fall under the same category as the genie we let out of the bottle in the form of nuclear science:
