RUSSIA IS RE-ASSERTING ITSELF IN THE ARCTIC

This is another area where things are heating up with Russia.  There is crazy amounts of oil and gas up there.  Russia already took a sub to the bottom of the sea and planted a titanium flag there – similar to the USA planting a flag on the Moon.  Canada immediately asserted itself in the Arctic with that action by Russia.  Of course, the USA did as well.  The most represented country in these parts is the USA on the North Slope projects.  There is so much oil and gas up there it is ridiculous.

So, we have Ukraine, Syria/Golan Heights and the Arctic Sea where the USA and Russia do not see eye to eye.  Not to mention that the newer generations are all being taught that the USA has Alaska on a lease from Russia – or that we stole it.  Sounds like a really bad argument in a really bad marriage……  Sheesh.

Interesting times we live in.  Wonder when this juicy boil is going to “boil over”:
